This one is from a clearly disturbed individual calling himself ‘fatnigger’. Make what you will of her or his name. The individual’s post is first up at Wally’s Boltwatch.

“Obviously, abortion is a 'wedge' issue, mainly used by conservative governments to distract people from issues like war, economy, etc.”

Google it.

Iraq war. Nearly three million hits.

Economy. Nearly ten million hits.

Abortion. Just over two-hundred thousand hits.

Even accounting for non-news pages (and loads of porn), clearly society is focussed on the former issues. At the very least, we can conclude that abortion isn’t doing very well as a wedgy distraction.
